This is a photo of my good self taken outside the bar at Essex University after finishing my finals in 1971.

I had spent three years working very hard at listening to bands like Fairport Convention, John Martyn, Family, The Nice, East of Eden, Pink Floyd, Roy Harper, Edgar Broughton, Third Ear Band, Jon Hiseman's Colosseum, Blodwyn Pig, Terry Reid's Fantasia, Groundhogs, Chicken Shack and many many more.

This is a photo of my good self taken outside the Three Horseshoes, Willian, a few weeks after attending the 1998 Cropredy Festival.

I had spent another twenty seven years working very hard at listening to bands like Fairport Convention, Richard Thompson, Albion Band, Roy Harper, Danny Thompson, John Martyn and many many more.

This just goes to show that listening to folk/rock will make you fat, lose hair and ruin your dress-sense but will not diminish your grip on a pint of bitter in a straight glass  ;-)
